Prevents/abates health, safety, or environmental menaces through education, guidance, and enforcement as needed. Implements the regulations of the Board of Health & Prince William County pertaining to all phases of permitting, construction, operation, monitoring of onsite sewage systems; alternative discharging sewage systems, private wells, and small public water supplies. Performs in an emergency response capability within the framework of the Virginia Department of Health and Prince William Health District Emergency Plans.
