Virginia is making a push to Vaccinate Virginia by Standing up its New Centralized Pre-Registration System and its New Call Center

*Please know, vaccine supply is limited and each individual’s turn for vaccination will be based on when an individual registered and their priority group, per CDC guidelines.

Virginia Residents and workers can sign up to get a COVID-19 vaccine through the new Statewide Vaccine Pre-registration System at vaccinate.virginia.gov.

For those who do not have access to the internet, you can get pre-registered for the vaccine by calling 1-877-VAX-IN-VA.  The state’s call center is open seven days a week (8am–8pm).

People age 75 and older will be placed in an express lane to speak to a live agent when calling 1-877-VAX-IN-VA.

TTY service is available to assist people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired by calling Virginia Relay at 7-1-1.

Expect the state’s new Information Call Center to have a higher wait-times at first after but should get better in 1-2 weeks.

If you already registered with a local health district or were registered by your employer, you do not need to register again.  The Virginia Health Department (VDH) says your information has been imported into the new centralized system.

Residents can confirm they are still registered by going to vaccinate.virginia.gov and clicking on “Check the List” in the upper right-hand corner.  After putting in your name, you will also need to add your email or phone number.

Regular confirmation updates either by email or text will be sent to assure residents they are still on this list and will be contacted when it is their turn.

Residents who registered in the new statewide system will be given a reference code.   When it is their turn to schedule vaccination, they will be contacted.

Also, employees will now fill out their own Pre-Registration Form independently from their employer. In the form, employees will provide their job type so that correct eligibility can be determined on an individual basis.
