The Color of COVID
Join Us for a Community Conversation on Racial and Socio-Economic Disparities and COVID
The Color of COVID is a new event series intended to educate policymakers, organizations, community members, and other stakeholders on the racial disparity of COVID-19 burden and uncover the economic, social, and health inequities that have led to or perpetuate the disparity. This weekly Facebook Live series on Fridays features an informal conversation on racial equity community members’ experiences with COVID-19. These small, informal conversations will allow speakers to go in-depth and audiences to learn different perspectives on a variety of subtopics (food access, housing, parenting, and more).
This is particularly important as we provide health services in communities that have experienced historical or modern-day discrimination, maltreatment, and exploitation from healthcare systems.
