All RHHD clinics and offices will be closed on Tuesday, Nov. 7, and Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of Election Day and Veterans Day. Both days are important for public health workers—and our communities—to observe:
Elected officials make critical decisions about how to support and fund public health and resident well-being, and we have a say in how those decisions are made! Visit Virginia’s Department of Elections website to check your voter registration, find your polling place, and learn about what’s on your ballot.
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that there are more than 700,000 veterans living in Virginia. If you’re a veteran, keep in mind that you should have access to a free COVID vaccine through the VA. And if you’re interested in continuing to serve your community, the Medical Reserve Corps is always looking for volunteers with your skills and spirit of service!
