And no one likes finding ticks, but some days, you forget\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vdh.virginia.gov\/ticks\/prevention\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">your insect repellant, your long pants, or your regular tick check<\/a>, and then there you are, an amateur\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/medical\/acarology\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">acarologist<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you find a tick on yourself, your kiddos, or on a pet, the case isn\u2019t closed!
