The WIC program offers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Quality nutrition education and counseling<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Breastfeeding support, services and supplies<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">A healthy food package including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk and more<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div role=\"presentation\">Referrals to community partners<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p role=\"presentation\">Access to prenatal, maternal and pediatric health care services<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>WIC Breastfeeding Peer Counselors serve families before and after the delivery of their infants. Peer counselors meet with families in clinics, homes, hospitals and by phone, depending on local program offerings.
