This is especially important during <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/aafa.org\/the-september-asthma-peak-is-here\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Asthma Peak Week<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">, the third week in September, to help reduce the risk of severe symptoms.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">People with asthma and allergies are exposed to several triggers in September<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/aafa.org\/allergies\/types-of-allergies\/pollen-allergy\/ragweed-pollen\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ragweed<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"none\">, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">the most common fall pollen allergy, is highest in September in the U.S.<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/aafa.org\/allergies\/types-of-allergies\/mold-allergy\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Mold counts<\/span><\/a> <span data-contrast=\"none\">go up as leaves collect outside. T<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">he Richmond metropolitan area also ranked number eight on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/aafa.org\/asthma-allergy-research\/allergy-capitals\/\"><span
