National Stop the Bleed Day – May 23, 2019
Stop the Bleed is a national public awareness and training campaign to teach bleeding control techniques to the general public and empower them with the skills and knowledge to help in a bleeding emergency.

This year, May is National Stop the Bleed Month and next Thursday, May 23, is the second annual National Stop the Bleed Day, a day intended to heighten public awareness and bring bleeding control instructors and students together for training events across the country. More information about the day – including educational resources for the general public and a list of training courses searchable by location and date – is available at https://www.bleedingcontrol.org/.

We wanted to make sure the MRC network was aware and to thank all of the units who are engaged in Stop the Bleed, Until Help Arrives, and similar training efforts throughout the year!
