Virtual Dementia Tour — Petersburg

You’re invited to a statewide Virtual Dementia Tour® (VDT) Certified Facilitator Training, hosted by the Virginia Department of Health (VDH).
What is the Virtual Dementia Tour®?
VDT is an evidence-based, immersive experience designed to help participants gain a deeper understanding of what it feels like to live with dementia. This training equips participants to facilitate the VDT in their own communities—improving empathy, care, and support for individuals living with dementia.
Training Highlights:
- Full-day, interactive certification training (approximately 7–8 hours)
- Hands-on experience with the VDT methodology
- Become a Certified VDT Facilitator
- All training materials and first-year membership provided at no cost by VDH
- Ongoing support and resources from Second Wind Dreams®
After Year One:
Annual facilitator membership renewal is the responsibility of the participant or agency (approximately $400/year)
