GOOCHLAND, Va. — Beginning the week of July 11, 2022, the Chickahominy Health District, serving the counties of Charles City, Goochland, Hanover, and New Kent, will offer the Pfizer and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for children ages 6 months through 4 or 5 years old, following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Food and Drug Administration.

Families have several options for where to get their children the COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination sites may include:

  • Local Health Departments (including Charles City, Goochland, Hanover, and New Kent)

  • Retail Pharmacies (for children ages 3 years and older)

Those wishing to get their children vaccinated at a Chickahominy Health District clinic (either at the Local Health Department or at one of the special community-based clinics) should make an appointment by contacting the district’s COVID-19 Call Center: 804-365-3240 or by requesting an appointment online: https://tinyurl.com/VaxCHD.
