Community Health Worker, Community Name Goes Here
Hi, my name is Jazmine and I moved to our area a few years ago. I love helping people feel better and stay healthy. I've worked with people who need help with their minds and feelings for many years. I went to college to learn about how to run businesses. I also know how to teach people how to relax and feel calm through yoga.
I'm a mom, so I understand how hard it can be for families. I want to help everyone in our community have a chance to be healthy and happy.
I started a group called GEAR Recovery to help kids and families. This group help people when someone in their home has problems with drugs or mental health. GEAR Recovery helps people learn how to feel better and stay safe. I even work with the Elizabeth River Project to show kids how nature can help them feel better.
I also work for the Norfolk Department of Public Health. I make sure that everyone in Norfolk has a chance to be healthy, even if they live in different parts of our city. I talk to people in the community to find out what they need and help them get the help they need.
I'm also part of the Norfolk Opioid Coalition. We help people who have problems with opioids and addiction.
I want to help everyone in Norfolk stay healthy and happy. You can listen to me on the radio every Sunday morning at 10:30 AM on WNSB Hot 91 (91.1 FM). I talk about health topics and tell people about things that can help them stay healthy.
When I'm not working, I love spending time with my kids and my pets. I also enjoy crafting and boxing. I'm committed to building a brighter future for families in Norfolk, both in my personal and work life. I hope I can help people change and make sure everyone has a fair chance to be healthy.
I look forward to connecting with you. Reach out anytime!
