About this Event

This workshop is designed to teach all types of disaster or emergency responders strategies they can use to care for themselves in dealing with the stresses of their work/deployment.

Target Audience: Anyone who may be called upon to respond to emergent, high-stress situations, including:

  • First Responders (Police, Fire, EMS)
  • Emergency Responder (Shelter workers, search and rescue, EOC staff)
  • Emergency Department clinicians and staff
  • Medical Reserve Corps volunteers and Public Health staff
  • If you respond to crisis or disaster and have the potential for stress in your role, this training is for you!
