Hold Up and Buckle Up

Hold Up and Buckle Up: It only takes a second, but making sure everyone in the ambulance is buckled up and equipment is secured can save lives and prevent serious injury. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 84% of EMS providers were not properly buckled up and only 33% of patients were properly secured with both lap and shoulder restraints during ambulance crashes.
