Piedmont Health District Postpones Blackstone COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Due to Inclement Weather

BLACKSTONE, Va. – Due to inclement weather, Piedmont Health District is canceling the COVID-19 vaccination clinic scheduled for Tuesday, January 4 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Blackstone Volunteer Fire Department located at 318 Church St.

Piedmont Health Department staff will work to reschedule this clinic for the earliest available opportunity. At this time, the date of the rescheduled clinic has not been set.

The best time to prepare for severe winter weather is now, before temperatures drop significantly and staying safe and warm becomes a challenge. Visit the VDH website to learn more about winter safety.

Anyone still needing a COVID-19 vaccine is encouraged to visit www.vaccinate.virginia.gov or call 1-877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682, TTY users call 7-1-1). English- and Spanish-speaking operators are available. Translation services also are available in more than 100 languages.
