Three Rivers Health District Residents can receive COVID-19 Vaccines at Home for Free

(Middlesex, Va.) — Residents of the Three Rivers Health District who are unable to leave their home to receive the COVID-19 vaccine are eligible to be vaccinated for free at home. Interested participants can call (804) 815-4191 to schedule an appointment.

Vaccination remains our most powerful tool to limit COVID-19 infection and severe disease. Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines are available at no cost. Children ages 5 and over are eligible to be vaccinated.

“Vaccines remain critical as the district transitions into its new normal. As more individuals continue to get vaccinated and demand decreases, we are hopeful that more personal approaches to increase access will help us to reach those who remain unvaccinated, especially while the vaccine and program are available at no cost,” said Dr. Richard Williams, health director for the district. “I also want to acknowledge the tireless efforts of our staff, volunteers, and partners to meet the needs of the community. Without their dedication, this program would not be possible,” he added.
