LARGE DRIVE-THRU COVID-19 TESTING EVENT OFFERS TESTS AFTER HOLIDAYS
RICHMOND, VA – Richmond and Henrico Health Districts are holding a drive-thru testing event at The Diamond (3001 N Arthur Ashe Blvd.) on Tuesday, December 29 from noon – 2 p.m. The event is open to the public. The health districts have 400 tests available at the event.
Following Christmas, Richmond and Henrico Health Districts planned a large-scale testing event to accommodate an increase in demand after travelling and gathering for the holidays.
“Historically, we’ve seen an increase in demand for COVID testing after a holiday,” explains Lanier Olsson, Community Testing Manager. “Folks think back on their time with families and start to wonder if it was the safest option. People want to know their status and we encourage that.”
