VDH Partners with Dollar General to Provide COVID-19 Vaccinations
South Prince George location offering free vaccinations on November 9 & 10

(RICHMOND, VA.) — The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) is partnering with Dollar General stores to provide COVID-19 vaccinations at no cost at the Dollar General Store located at 2622 Courtland Road, South Prince George, 23805. The pilot vaccination program began Tuesday, November 2 and continues through Monday, November 22. .

The vaccination clinics are intended for individuals 12 years and older who have not received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccinations are also available for those seeking their second dose, third dose or booster shots. Pediatric Pfizer vaccines for individuals 5-11 years of age will not be available during the initial rollout of the pilot program. The COVID-19 vaccine is safe and is highly effective. The vaccine is an essential step in stopping the spread of the virus.

Dollar General will offer COVID-19 vaccinations on the following days and times. Additional days will be added at a later date.

    • Wednesday, November 10, 3-7 p.m.
