Norfolk Health Department Reopens COVID-19 Vaccination Center at Military Circle Mall

NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Department of Health will hold a Free COVID-19 vaccination clinic twice a week at the Norfolk Military Circle Mall (880 N. Military Highway) site starting Tuesday, April 5. Tuesday hours are 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Walk-ins only. There are no appointments.

It is important to stay healthy for families to enjoy those great spring days and events. Being fully vaccinated and boosted remains our best defense to reduce the spread and diminish serious illness and hospitalization.

All vaccines will be available at the clinic including boosters. A second booster is now recommended for certain immunocompromised individuals and people over the age of 50 who received an initial booster dose of Pfizer or Moderna mRNA vaccine at least four months ago. Those who received a primary vaccine and booster dose of Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine at least four months ago may now receive a second booster dose using a mRNA COVID-19 vaccine. A consultation with your healthcare provider is recommended to decide whether to receive a second booster.

Ages 5-17 will be offered the Pfizer vaccine and will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

If you are coming for your second, third or booster dose, please bring your vaccine card to confirm the date and type of vaccine you received in previous doses.
