Western Tidewater Health District

The mission of the Western Tidewater Health District is to provide medical, environmental, and public health services to promote, protect, and preserve the health of the citizens of Western Tidewater. The district team proudly supports Isle of Wight County, Southampton County, and the independent cities of Franklin and Suffolk in southeastern Virginia.

The general operating hours at our locations are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Seasonal Influenza Vaccination (Flu Shot) Event


#Misstheflu, not your life. Did you get your flu shot yet?

The Western Tidewater Health District, Southampton Memorial Hospital, and Paul D. Camp Community College (PDCCC) are hosting a seasonal influenza vaccination (flu shot) clinic. The vaccines will be provided for FREE (no cost/no co-pay) both outside in a drive-thru format and inside the college as well. The vaccine is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis and will be limited to the supply on hand.
