CHARLES CITY COUNTY
Community Health Improvement Plan
- Charles City County has started developing the 2024-2028 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). The CHIP will outline how the community plans to address the top three health priorities: 1) Healthcare Access and Quality; 2) Economic Stability, Infrastructure, and Workforce Development; and 3) Childhood Health and Education. Getting input from the community is important for making a community health improvement plan (CHIP). Your ideas help make sure the plan works well for everyone, represents the community’s needs, and makes Charles City County healthier. Do you have a great idea on how to address the health priorities? Share it with health department staff by emailing CHDWellness@vdh.virginia.gov or calling 804-365-3240. The CHIP has a planned release of June 2024.
