Emergency Shellfish Condemnations and Shellfish Recalls
- The Emergency Closure in the Little Wicomico River will go into effect on Friday October 9, 2026.
- The Emergency Closure in the Lower Machodoc Creek will go into effect on Friday October 9, 2026.
- All other shellfish harvesting waters are currently classified according to routine criteria per Va. Code §§ 28.2-803 through 28.2-808.
