Who We Are

VIPTA’s mission is to promote awareness of, improve access to, and highlight the real-world application of infection prevention and control (IPC) resources in Virginia.

We connect a statewide network of public health and healthcare workers to share expertise, model practical application, and equip new and experienced infection prevention partners with the tools and guidance needed to strengthen implementation and prevent healthcare‑associated infections and antimicrobial resistance.

Check out the VIPTA FAQ page for more details about us.
