Our Mission: To achieve and maintain optimum personal and community health for the residents in the Piedmont Health District by emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and environmental protection.
Get Ready, Get Set, Get Immunized!
Immunizations are part of the back-to-school process. School districts require up-to-date immunization records to keep our children and community safe. Be sure that your child is able to start the year right: Get ready, get set, get immunized!
If your child is entering Kindergarten, 7th grade, or 12th grade, there are specific immunizations that must be completed. Your child may have fallen behind on immunizations in recent years, so other immunizations may also be required. Review of your child’s records is the best way to know if they are ready for the first day of school. Fortunately, it’s easy to check!
CALL your child’s school.
CALL your child’s pediatrician.
