To provide additional context, a graph titled "Cumulative Uptake Percentage Comparison" with accompanying chart can be seen at the bottom of this page to show what COVID-19 and Flu vaccine coverage rates looked like the past two seasons.
About the Data
- All immunization data on this page are reflective of doses reported to Virginia's Immunization Information System.
- The 2024-2025 Flu season is represented by doses administered from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025.
- The 2024-2025 COVID -19 season is represented by doses administered from August 23, 2024 for Moderna and Pfizer vaccinations to present and September 1, 2024 for Novavax vaccinations to present.
- Note: The different start date for the COVID-19 season is based on FDA authorization of this product.
