Shenandoah County

Nutritionist

This position provides nutrition to clients in a variety of settings within the district. Characteristic activity: Conducts patient nutritional assessments and evaluations in the clinic, home, school, and community settings; develops and monitors nutritional care plans and food packages. This role is responsible for independently providing nutrition counseling, education, and promotion of health prevention strategies associated with the WIC program.

Environmental Health Supervisor

The Lord Fairfax Health District is seeking a qualified individual to serve as an Environmental Health Supervisor for Page County, Warren County and Shenandoah County. This position is located at the Shenandoah County Health Department. This position serves as a supervisor in the environmental health program with formal administrative, programmatic and performance management responsibilities for multiple staff in support of work unit goals and objectives. Certifications of the Environmental Health Specialist Senior are required if performing inspections or evaluations of that level. The Environmental Health Technical Specialist certifications are preferred but required if performing the duties.

Environmental Health Specialist

The Lord Fairfax Health District is seeking a qualified individual to serve as an Environmental Health Specialist for its food sanitation program as well as perform duties in rabies abatement, communicable disease investigation, tourist establishment sanitation, migrant labor camp inspection and investigation of general environmental complaints. This position is located at the Shenandoah County Health Department.

Page & Warren Counties

Nutritionist

Working within the WIC Program, this position provides nutrition to clients in a variety of settings within the district. Characteristic activity: Conducts patient nutritional assessments and evaluations in the clinic, home, school, and community settings; develops and monitors nutritional care plans and food packages. This position works in both Page and Warren counties.
