Prior to deployments, we encourage our volunteers to complete Disaster Behavioral Health Training listed below:
- Disaster Behavioral Health CDC TRAIN Course ID# 1045459- It defines disaster behavioral health as it relates to public health preparedness. Topics addressed include: signs and symptoms of stress, self-care, and planning for behavioral health in disaster preparedness.
- Basic Disaster Behavioral Health-Just-in-Time Training TRAIN Course ID# 1091270– A 7 min online webinar orientation for MRC volunteers joining the Virginia Medical Reserve Corps. This on-demand training includes a Resource Toolkit.
