Piedmont Safe Sleep Crib Program
The Piedmont Safe Sleep Program is a community effort to educate parents and caregivers on the importance of safe sleep in the prevention of SIDS and SUID. A limited number of cribs are available to households meeting income guidelines.
To qualify for this program, you must:
- Be a parent, legal guardian, or foster parent of a child under the age of 6 months
- A resident of Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway or Prince Edward Counties
- Financially eligible or participating in Medicaid, WIC, SNAP, SSI or TANF
- Available to attend a review of safe sleep guidelines and a crib safety education session

There are no fees to participate in this program.
