Sanitation Inspections

Facilities include:

• Childcare facilities overseen by the Virginia Department of Education:
  • Child Day Programs that are exempt from licensure based on the Code of Virginia
  • Child Day Centers operated or conducted under the auspices of a religious institution that are exempt from licensure based on the Code of Virginia
• Adult care facilities overseen by the Virginia Department of Social Services:
  • Adult Day Care Centers
  • Assisted Living Facilities

 

1. To request an inspection, please email the EH associate and they will direct your request to the appropriate inspector: Beth.Kalyan@vdh.virginia.gov

2. Complete the top section of the inspection report and have it ready in preparation for the inspection:
