2025

On Nov. 12, 2025, district staff, MRC volunteers, Colonial Heights Fire, EMS & Emergency Management, Crater Health District, VCU School of Nursing, Chesterfield Emergency Management, Chesterfield CERT, and community members participated in a full-scale district-wide flu exercise to fulfill our Public Health Emergency Preparedness requirements.

2024

On October 10, 16 and 22, district staff, Medical Reserve Corps and Community Emergency Response Team volunteers participated in flu exercises in Colonial Heights, Powhatan and Chesterfield. We vaccinated people in our community while practicing how we would respond in a point-of-dispensing (POD) should the need arise.
