Virginia Doula Task Force

Background:

The Virginia Doula Task Force was established in the 2021 Appropriations Act to assist with promulgation of regulations and the certification process of doulas, and to serve as an informational resource for policy related matters for the Virginia Department of Health (VDH).

The Virginia Doula Task Force operates according to bylaws developed and periodically reviewed by task force members.

Meetings:

The Virginia Doula Task Force meets quarterly, and meetings are open to the public. Meeting information can be found on Virginia Regulatory Town Hall.
