Rappahannock Area Health District Announces New Location for Spotsylvania County Health Department
SPOTSYLVANIA, Va. – We are excited to announce that the Spotsylvania County Health Department will be operating out of a new location beginning August 10, 2026. The new Spotsylvania County Health Department will be located at 10300 Spotsylvania Ave. 4th Floor, Suite 420 Fredericksburg, VA 22408.
On arrival at the building please proceed to the elevators in the main lobby. Take the elevator to the 4th floor, and the entrance for clinical services will be to your left. The entrance for environmental health can be found just down the hall and to your left. Additional signage will be provided to help clients navigate around the building.
The last day of operations at the current location within the Holbert Building will be on Friday, July 24. The two-week closure will give staff time to move, set up in the new location, and test clinic flow and other operations prior to reopening.

Being housed in the same building as the Department of Social Services and the Division of Rehabilitative Services enhances this effort even further. Bringing essential community partners together under one roof fosters collaboration, improves access to supportive services, and creates a more coordinated environment for addressing the diverse needs of the residents we serve.”
All services currently provided by the Spotsylvania County Health Department will continue in the new location. This new space also provides room for us to grow over the next 12 months as we strive to meet community needs. Please visit the links below for more information about these programs.
