The Prince William Health District offers STI screening, detection, treatment and education services.
These services are available by appointment only.

Confidential services offered during STI clinics include:
- Detection, screening and treatment of STIs
- HIV and Syphilis testing, counseling and education
- STI education, information and referral to other services, as appropriate
- Risk reduction counseling
Please bring your health insurance information and proof of household income for the services you receive, if applicable.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
- You will meet with a Public Health Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Medical Doctor
- You will confidentially discuss your protected medical history and sexual history
- You will discuss any concerns or symptoms that you may be experiencing
- You may be asked to provide samples (urine, oral, genital, blood) for testing based on individual circumstances
- You will be provided education, your questions will be answered, and your concerns addressed
- You will be treated with respect and your information will always remain confidential

If recommended by the provider, after reviewing your immunization records, you may be eligible to receive the Hepatitis B, Hepatitis A, Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), and/or Mpox vaccine.
- Fees may be sliding scale based on income or billed through insurance companies we participate with.
- A financial eligibility will be completed for all clients.
- If a financial eligibility is declined, we will charge a flat fee for services provided. Please speak with our front office staff to determine your individual financial situation, as some services may be free of charge.
We do not currently accept walk-ins and are an appointment-based clinic at this time. Appointments are currently offered in Woodbridge on Wednesday’s and Manassas on Thursday’s. Please call to make an appointment.

FREE HIV Self-Testing Program - The Virginia Department of Health makes HIV testing even easier to access! Eligible residents of Virginia and Maryland can receive an HIV self-test to take in the privacy of their home or where is convenient.
