Tuberculosis (TB) is a bacterial disease spread through the air from one person to another. People most likely to get TB are those who live with or have close contact with a person who has contagious TB and is not getting proper treatment. Symptoms of TB may include a persistent cough that doesn’t go away, fatigue, weight loss, loss of appetite and fever.

Walk-in TB screening and testing is offered at each health department. There is a small cost involved. Please call for more information or click here to select your local health department for clinic hours.
