Back to School Immunizations

The Blue Ridge Health District is hosting Back to School Immunization Clinics to provide school-required vaccines for Fall 2024.  Immunizations are based on grade level.

• Rising kindergartners: Hep B, Hep A, TDap, Polio, MMR, Varicella
• Rising 7th graders: Tdap, HPV, & Meningococcal 
• Rising 12th graders: Meningococcal 

Nelson County

• Serving: Rising  7th & 12th graders in Nelson County
• When: Friday, August 2 from 9:00 to 11:30 AM, Friday, August 9 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM
• Location: Nelson County Health Department (4038 Thomas Nelson Hwy, Arrington)
• Walk-ins only, no appointment required – vaccine supply is limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis.

• Serving: Rising 7th & 12th graders in Fluvanna County
• When: Monday, August 5 from 8:30 to 11:30 AM & Tuesday, August 6 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM

• Walk-ins only, no appointment required – vaccine supply is limited and will be given on a first come, first served basis.
