What is the COVID Care Kit Program?
The COVID Care Kit program facilitates delivery of kits to recipients in the Central Virginia Health District who face limitations accessing food and other necessities when isolating due to a positive COVID-19 infection. The COVID Care Kit Program also delivers kits and provides resources for necessary services to those affected by long COVID or have been recently hospitalized due to a COVID-19 infection. The COVID Care Kit Program partners with food pantries and food services, like Parkview Community Mission and Lynchburg Daily Bread to provide food in the care kits.
