COVID-19 Vaccination Update
The 2025-26 COVID-19 vaccines are available without a prescription for certain people 18+ at a pharmacy. This includes anyone 65 years of age and up, and anyone 18-64 years of age with at least one underlying condition that puts them at high risk for severe outcomes from COVID-19.
The Lynchburg Health Department will be offering homebound appointments for the new 2025-2026 COVID-19 vaccine.
- You may qualify if you are physically or medically unable to leave your home to get the COVID-19 shot. This service is free and there is no insurance or documentation required.
