Safe Sleep Program
The Safe Sleep Program helps prevent infant sleep-related deaths. It teaches parents and caregivers how to keep their babies safe while sleeping. The program also gives portable cribs to families who do not have a safe place for their baby to sleep.
Eligibility
- The parent or caregiver must receive public assistance or meet income guidelines.
- The family must not have a safe place for the baby to sleep.
- Pregnant individuals must be in their third trimester.
- If the baby is already born:
- The baby must be younger than 6 months old
- Weigh less than 30 pounds
- Be shorter than 35 inches
