Safe Sleep Program

The Safe Sleep Program helps prevent infant sleep-related deaths. It teaches parents and caregivers how to keep their babies safe while sleeping. The program also gives portable cribs to families who do not have a safe place for their baby to sleep.

Eligibility

  • The parent or caregiver must receive public assistance or meet income guidelines.
  • The family must not have a safe place for the baby to sleep.
  • Pregnant individuals must be in their third trimester.
  • If the baby is already born:
    • The baby must be younger than 6 months old
    • Weigh less than 30 pounds
    • Be shorter than 35 inches
