Virginia Disease Prevention Hotline
The Virginia Disease Prevention Hotline provides toll-free lines to the Commonwealth of Virginia. Counselors answer questions and provide crisis intervention, referrals, and written educational materials regarding Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs), HIV/AIDS, and Viral Hepatitis. Hotline hours are Monday-Friday from 8 am until 5 pm. The hotline is closed for Virginia State Holidays.
When the Virginia Disease Prevention Hotline is closed, a recorded message refers callers to CDC-INFO, the CDC Hotline. The CDC Hotline may have extended hours of availability.
Virginia Medication Assistance Program (VA MAP) Call Center
Persons living with HIV can call the VA MAP Call Center for help with VA MAP programs. Call center hours are Monday through Friday 8 am until 5 pm. The call center is closed for Virginia State Holidays.
