WIC - Women, Infants and Children

WIC (Women, Infants, Children) is a  nutrition education and supplemental food program for eligible pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding women and children up to age five.

To get an appointment:

Call the closest Health Department between 8:30AM and 4:30PM and tell them your zipcode.

For the Great Bridge Health Center office please call (757) 382-8608

For the South Norfolk Health Center office please call (757) 382-2651

What you need to bring to your appointment:

• Your child
• Proof of INCOME for entire family
• Proof of identification
• Proof of address
• Proof of pregnancy from a doctor
• Immunization record

Recommended:

• A referral form from your doctor with current weight, height and hemoglobin or hematocrit (Child must still be present)
