Henrico Food Service Permit Application Procedures

Before opening a new or extensively remodeled foodservice facility, the foodservice operator must obtain a foodservice permit from the Henrico County Health Department. There is a $100.00 fee for this permit, which will be issued when the facility is complete and in compliance with the rules and regulations which govern restaurants. To help you avoid any last minute frustrations, the Henrico County Health Department conducts a thorough plan review for which there is a $75.00 fee.

Foodservice Plan Review

Our Foodservice Plan Review checklist will assist you in gaining compliance with the rules and regulations governing restaurants. We suggest that you review this information as it applies to your planned foodservice operation. The information entered on the plan review form must correspond directly with the plans submitted for the Health Department review. We suggest that you attend a plan review conference prior to final review of your plans. The cost of the Foodservice Plan Review is $75.00.

Health Permit Application
