Training Classes


In cooperation with Virginia Cooperative Extension, we provide the following programs:

"ServSafe" manager certification training for food service operators and their management staff.  Two-day course.  Registration fee. 

"Cooking for Crowds" training on safe food handling for members of non-profit organizations that prepare large quantities of food, such as for food festivals, fundraisers, and potlucks.  Four-hour workshop.  Free.

Cooking for Crowds Course:

No classes are scheduled for the fall, 2008.  Please call your local health department to schedule one for members of your organization.  We request a minimum of 15 participants.
