As a result of a recent fire, the Isle of Wight (IOW) Environmental Health Services Offices will temporarily operate out of the Suffolk office. Citizens may come to the Suffolk Health Department in order to file an application for a septic system, well, restaurant, temporary event or other environmental health permit. Environmental Specialists will continue their routine inspections and field evaluations in Isle of Wight. Citizens should contact the Suffolk office in advance to ensure they have all necessary paperwork. Test days and times for food handlers will remain the same for the Suffolk, Franklin and Southampton offices. IOW food handlers should make arrangements to take the test in one of those offices.
