What is WIC?

WIC is a Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children.

Who is eligible for WIC?

WOMEN:
Pregnant, Post Partum or Breast-feeding

INFANTS:
Under one year of age


CHILDREN:
Under 5 years of age - once child turns 5 years old, child is no longer eligible for the WIC Program.

All applicants must qualify both financially and nutritionally.

How do I get an appointment?
  • Call your local health department between 8:30 am - 12 noon and    1 - 5 p.m.
