girl bitting dentist' fingerDental Health Services: Licensed Dentists provide diagnostic, preventive, and restorative treatment to children at each health department. Each county is equipped with a mobile dental unit which travels to various schools within the county providing dental services to eligible students. Students who are eligible for free school lunches are eligible for free dental services after parental consent is given. Other students' fees for services are based on the health department's sliding scale. Several third party insurance plans are accepted, including VA Medicaid and Anthem.

Adult Indigent:  Eligibility is determined by a sliding scale plus a $10.00 (Ten) dollar adult fee/per visit. No routine dental work for adults (Emergency service only).  Example:  Extractions only.  Adults must be a resident of the county in which dental emergency treatment is given.
