A message from Charles Lee, Chronic Disease Program Supervisor:
If your New Year’s resolution is to exercise, the next step is to decide on a fitness activity or activities that you will enjoy. Research shows that the more enjoyable the exercise or physical activity the more likely a person will stick to it. Since there are so many types of exercises; why not experiment with a few of them to see if you like it or not. Make sure you ease slowly into your new activity. Slow and steady wins the race. The Richmond Health District offers plenty of free Rock! Richmond fitness classes throughout the City to help you meet your fitness goals. Click here for more information
