Special Immunizations - Influenza and pneumonia vaccines. Information and immunizations for overseas travel.
AIDS/HIV Testing - Confidential or anonymous testing available. Patrick County HIV testing days vary and an appointment is required.
Tuberculosis - Tuberculin skin test, chest x-rays, evaluation monitoring for TB cases and contacts. Appointments required.

Health Education - The staff is available to help with community health education, promotion, worksite programs, health counseling, and coalition building for better health.
Vital Statistics - Certified copies of death certificates are issued locally upon appropriate request.
Sexually Transmitted Disease - Education, counseling, screening tests, exams and treatment.
Gynecological/PAP Smear Clinic - Available to women who no longer need a birth control method. Includes a breast exam and education.
EWL Program - Screening for breast and cervical cancer for women who are uninsured or in low income bracket.
Family Planning - Birth control information, methods of birth control, counseling, physical exams. All services strictly confidential. Appointment required.
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program - Pregnant and breastfeeding women who ify will receive nutrition education, counseling and special food vouchers. Appointments required
Babycare - Special help for at-risk pregnant women and others.
Pregnancy Testing - Available with education, counseling and referrals. Appointments not required.
Immunizations - Required immunizations for children are available at no cost beginning at two months of age. Appointment required.
Care Safety Seat Program - Car safety seat education and free car seats for eligible low income families.
Well Child Clinic - Education, counseling, physical and developmental assessment for infants and children who qualify financially. Appointment required.Extra clinics are done as needed.
School Health - School entrance and special education exams. Public health nurses are available for school health education and counseling.
Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program - Nutrition education and counseling, special food vouchers for eligible children under five years of age.
Newborn Screening - Performed for newborns not tested in hospital or need pre-testing.
Children Specialty Services - Provides Urology clinic at Henry-Martisville site plus case findings, and case management for clinics held ion Roanoke, Charlottesville, and Richmond.
Educational, preventive, and restorative services available for eligible children age birth through 18 years. Restorative services available for adults.
Lead - Investigation and abatement measures.
Rabies Control - Information on animal bites and rabies vaccinations.
Sewage Permits - Private and other noncommercial septic systems. Applications, evaluations and inspections.
Well Inspections and Permits - Applications and evaluations for private and public wells.
Drinking Water Information - Private well inspections and evaluation. Referrals for other water problems.
Restaurant Permits and Inspections - Routine food inspections as required by state law. Strong educational activities.
