The VDH Internship Academy, Cohort 4 of 2026, engaged in meaningful opportunities and valuable professional connections that will continue to support interns as they advance in their careers.
This cohort was populated with 34 interns representing 20 Colleges and Universities (18 in state interns and 16 out of state interns). Many interns majored in public health related programs, other majors include Anthropology, Kinesiology, Statistics, Biology, even Biomedical Engineering. They are pursuing all levels of degrees, from students who just finished their freshman year of college to those pursuing PhDs and medical degrees.
