Deaths

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) updated the Deaths dashboard on May 19, 2025.  The update includes 2024 death data as well as counts and rates at the city/county locality level. Death rates per 100,000 population were updated using U.S. Census Bureau Single-Race Population Estimates. Small differences in rates may be seen in data accessed before May 19, 2025.
