Because Richmond City Health District is closely monitoring and responding to COVID-19, some of our clinical programs have closed or offer different hours. Please continue to check the website for updates.
- There are currently no walk-in appointments available. Check the program website or call (804) 482-5500 for information on how to schedule an appointment.
- Please enter on the Cary Street side of the building by the visitor's parking lot or on the Main Street side of the building.
- Please reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days and you are not fully vaccinated. For more information on what to do if you are feeling sick, visit the CDC website or call 804-205-3501.
Richmond City Health District Clinical Services are located in the Richmond City Health District building at 400 East Cary Street. The front entrance is located on Main Street. Clinical Services are available to the insured, uninsured and underinsured residents as well as the general public and teens. At our Cary Street location, we provide STI / HIV screening and treatment, immunizations, TB screenings, and refugee & immigrant services.
Visitor parking is available in the Cary Street lot and metered parking is available on Main and 4th Streets.

Our Resource Centers are available at a number of locations throughout the city. The Resource Centers provide STI / HIV screening and treatment, family planning services, chronic disease screening (obesity, blood pressure, diabetes), cervical and annual breast exams, and pregnancy testing.
