- People aged 6 months and older can receive the 2025–2026 COVID-19 vaccines based on individual-based decision-making with a healthcare provider. This includes pharmacists.
- In Virginia, people aged 3 years and older may receive a COVID-19 vaccine at a pharmacy without a prescription.
- Some pharmacies do not vaccinate young children – so check with them first about age requirements.
